Aw thank you that's SO kind! I'll show them later as they're out on the snow.....again!

The day did not work out as planned and that wasn't only because of the snow!

My sweet Samuel shut the conservatory door right on his index finger! he sliced off the entire piece of skin and was crying and sobbing that the finger would fall off. I am no longer any good with blood so mark had to be the paramedic!

He washed it and put some dressing over it and turned to me and said he needed to be taken to the Dr's/hospital!

We have 10inches of snow and i hadn't been even out of the door for fear of falling on my hip but Samuel was all i could think of. We trudged over the road to the cottage hospital which was SHUT! and then the emergency health centre. We explained the situation and he was seen within 20mins.

Mark had to leave us there to collect Marie's one friend who could make her 'party'.....Anyway he saw the nurse who washed and dressed it properly and he now has a bandage on it. She is fearful the tendons may be damaged but he seems okay. If it swells we need to go straight back...

Oh what a drama! The bowling alley was shut too so basically they all had snowball fights and watched a dvd!

If you could say a quick prayer for Samuel that would be kind, thank you so much!

Love,
Amanda

oooh poor poor samuel!Sad
... i know how that feels as i sliced my finger in the patio door a few years ago - it all healed up beautifully with no scar but didnt think it would at the time. Hope Samuel heals up really well and very soon.
...Sounds like you kept the party going between you though, well done for that! ;)

Thank you! He is okay but if there is ever a disaster here it is him who is involved!

He has had a shower with a plastic food bag over it, LOLOLOL....and daddy has re-dressed it!

Hoping there's no damage as it is a real worry and he is our saxophone player!!!

Love,
Amanda
